Opened in October, 2008 "The Hush Lounge" is the exciting new addition to Canberra’s gay scene, and has become the centre of gay and lesbian social life in Australia’s capital city.
"The Hush Lounge" caters to gays and lesbians (& gay friendly) looking for a lounge bar environment to meet and drink with friends, without blaring music. Enjoy a light meal and enjoy the ambience.
Funky, arty and modern décor helps to bring the relaxed atmosphere to life, along with the beer garden outside. Sundays features live music by various artists, and Hush Lounge members are kept up to date with any special events planned, via email.
We are thrilled to be part of a close-knit community, so join us soon, we'd love to see you. The Hush lounge is available for functions/meetings & parties with extensive catering options available, just ask and we will endeavour to make your special function unforgettable.

The interior is crisp & clean with comfortable lounges and small cosy seating areas. The laid back funky music is at a lower level but later into the night it transforms into more of a nightclub feel with DJ's on Friday & Saturday nights, spinning funky tunes. |
